One of my Favourite OTTOLINE photographs-Lady Ottoline standing in a wind-blown field in Berkshire Downs, ca. 1900. from the Papers of Lady Ottoline Morrell, here.
Now READING: CROME YELLOW by Adolus Huxley from 1921, where he draws on his visits to OTTLine's Garsington and her Life there. More about the book Later.
She is totally divine! That is a beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteYes Sandra, She was and still has that ability to captivate!
DeleteAnother gorgeous image from you of Ottoline. Just out of curiosity, how tall was she? There is the air of the super model/muse about her and the way she holds her posture. Incredible.
ReplyDeleteSI, I will check exacts- but she was tall, and the ladies of the day could become quite statuesque with the help of their Hats! I love this image as said and am enjoying seeing some of the Fall fashions that reflect the era.
Deletethank you both for the comments-Love getting them here at OTTOLINE DIVINE from fellow admirers, Gaye
